?>White Lightning Wet-Ride Lubricant has improved my winter cycling experience, hopefully it can do the same for you.
Description
As we all know, there are quite a few chain lubes out there designed to help you through the tougher conditions encountered in winter cycling. You know what its like, heavy rain, snow, dirt, salt, grit and other equally unpleasant substances hammer against your chain during your winter cycle.

?> is a thick bike lube designed to keep bicycle chains running smoothly. It excels in tough winter cycling conditions. In a nutshell, its formula doesn’t attract dirt quite as quickly as other thick lubricants and is also cleaner than most other thick lubes.
My experience
I have been using White Lightning Wet-Ride for a couple of years now throughout the winter. I apply it as soon as it starts to get damp outside and have found that it holds up very well on my daily bicycle commute through London. On this route I am invariably exposed to some degree of sludge. (I’d like to call it snow, but in Central London snow doesn’t exist, only sludge…) This sludge is always full of salt and dirt which someway always manages to find its way to my chain.
In the past my bicycle lube would get washed off or my chain would get very clogged up. As you can imagine, cleaning it was a bit of a pain in the you know where. Since using

?> I have found that the lube stays on much longer than my previous brand. I won’t go so far as to say that my chain stays spotless after cycling for a few hours, but the black slimy build up is noticeably reduced.
I first came across White Lightning when it was recommended to me by my local bicycle shop. Since then, I haven’t looked back. I use their all round bicycle lube during the summer cycling months but as soon as it gets dark and dismal I’m back on the White Lightning Wet-Ride Lubricant. I can quite honestly say that this squeezy bottle has saved me from a lot of hard work and hassle. More than this, I could easily see this being excellent for wet and muddy off-road cycling.
The only downside I can possibly see is its retail price in comparison to other lubricants. It is marginally more expensive. I personally find however that this is made up for by the fact that you don’t have to reapply it as often. It even survives a couple of my bicycle cleaning sessions which earns a big thumbs up in my books.
